Johanna Dauphin, born in Sweden 3rd September 1976 grew up surrounded by fashion and creativity in a family of painters, designers and artists. Graduated in marketing at the Stockholm University business school and at the Istituto Europeo di design
in fashion design.

Immediately after she is offered to work for the Italian Tod´s group as freelance designer. She continues as a product manager
for LVMH owned; FENDI in Rome, Italy, where she remains until she lances her own label in mars 2007.

J DAUPHIN is a mix of traditional craftsmanship, excellent materials and a lot of “rock n roll” attitude. She creates high edge leather accessories and hand crafted silver jewellery for a new generation. The idea behind J DAUPHIN is to create through passion and love, and turn away from senseless mass consuming.Her dream is to find a way back to the original and individual through the devotion of artisan work and antique techniques.

The bags, clutches and bracelets in Italian leather have quickly become a success and are appreciated of several International
stars as well as International press. She got puplications in, Vogue and Elle. For the collection of Fall Winter 2008 J DAUPHIN has made special design collaborations with Nordiska kompaniet in Stockholm, Sweden and as well for United Arrow in
Tokyo, Japan.

J DAUPHIN is sold in approximately 80 stores world wide in the countries Sweden, Norway, Denmark, France, Italy, UK, Spain, Japan, U.S, Holland and Germany.
